Happy Halloween October 31, 2006
Posted by Staci in : Emotions, General Ramblings , add a commentWell I just want to say happy Halloween to everyone who might happen to read this.  I have way too many friends to send messages to one-by-one. Or even to name here. I hope you all had a wonderful spooktackular night.Â
Monday night cards. October 31, 2006
Posted by Staci in : General Ramblings, It's in the Cards , add a commentSo I made it to Enoch’s tonight to play cards. I was a bit late, but they let me play anyway. *grin* Mike signed me in and had them post my blinds until I got there. I was only a bit late so I was not really that bad off chip wise when I sat down. I made it to the final table and ended up with 4th place. Lynn was right and I should have played my pocket 3’s right before we moved tables. I would have been in a much better position chip wise and I might have managed to earn enough points to make the TOC. As it is I am still 20 points short.Â

Posted by Staci in : General Ramblings, It's in the Cards, Vacations , add a commentAnother weekend is almost over. I have plans to play poker tonight, but other then that nothing is set.Â
I am going to put some new software in my phone. In theory it will give me back the threaded sms chat feature that the new 700w took away. It is still in beta so I am going to be testing it out to see how well it works. I am a little nervous about it because I have not edited code for computer software in ages. I have to make some changes to my registry after I install it so I am major backing every thing up first before I put it in. I am having visions of turning my $700 phone into a paperweight. Lets hope that does not happen.Â
I had plans to go to Vegas, those have been canceled. I then had plans to go to Laughlin and now those have been canceled. I guess I am destined to spend the rest of 2006 in Arizona with out any more escapes to win tons of money at a casino. *grin*Â
I am thinking about asking for a dart board for Christmas. I was going to ask for the new Nintendo Wii, but considering I have only played the xbox about 12 times since last Christmas, it does not seem like it is worth my family spending the money. I want it, but I just never really have time to play anymore. The dart board could be used by everyone, and I really need the practice because I still suck.Â
A formal complaint October 24, 2006
Posted by Staci in : Emotions, General Ramblings, Work Stuff , 3commentsWell I have taken the steps to file a formal complaint w/the office of the omsbudsperson with about my company. My stats and reviews are being impacted due to discrimination against me personally. And when I challenge an error they say I made, that I can prove they are wrong about, nothing is done. But other reps on my team with errors that are in more of a gray area are overturned in a matter of days. I still have one that has been under review since 06/06 which cost me my payout.Â
A Quote that sums up my mood. October 13, 2006
Posted by Staci in : Emotions , 3commentsWhy can’t we get all the people together in the world that we really like and then just stay together? I guess that wouldn’t work. Someone would leave. Someone always leaves. Then we would have to say good-bye. I hate good-byes. I know what I need. I need more hellos. ~Charles M. Vacation is over and some other stuff. October 9, 2006
Posted by Staci in : General Ramblings, It's in the Cards, Vacations, Work Stuff , add a commentSo my vacation is over and I am back at work today. All in all it was a pretty fun week in Disneyland. I have several new pins for my wall and some new shirts I bought as well. I thought about getting some jewerly but talked myself out of it. I will have pictures from the trip up within the week. The whole trip was fun, but there were a few minor bumps and stresses. That is the norm though.Â
I am back at work on my reduced shift. It was nice being able to get up a bit later and to take my time this morning. Since I gained weight on my trip, I will be using my treadmill every morning before work from here on out. My dr recommended the exercise anyway as a stress releiver so it will serve for 2 things. I really did not gain alot, just 5lbs, but I want to loose those 5lbs. The exercise should help with that.Â
Since my shift starts at my old break time, I had to move my starbucks run back as well. So I have afternoon coffee instead of morning coffee. I am trying to be positive at work today. I am really hoping this change helps with my stress and my work enviroment and stats improve.
There is poker tonight at enoch’s but I am not sure I am going to make it. I am thinking about it and I was also considering playing darts after the poker game, but I forgot my darts at home.Â
Its our last day October 7, 2006
Posted by Staci in : Vacations , add a commentIt is our last day in Disneyland. We are all getting ready to head over to the park. Yesterday was eventful. 4 adults with 2 kids. We needed more adults. But overall it was pretty fun. I think today I am going to split up from the group to finish up my shopping. I have a few people left to buy for and there are a few things I want to pick up for myself.Â
So our 2nd day October 3, 2006
Posted by Staci in : Vacations , add a commentOur 2nd day at the park is over. We spent our 1st day in the orginal Disneyland park. We manged to ride several rides and had a blast. Space Mountain has been reopened, and the changes are nice. Nothing extreme, but it now is all updated an looks more modern. We rode that, Indiana Jones, Jungle Cruise, Haunted Mansion, Thunder Mountain Railroad, and of course my favorite ride, Pirates. We did a bit of shopping, and also planned out things to buy closer to the end of our trip.Â
Today we only rode Soaring of California and the Zeplin ride, but the day was spend mostly shopping and sightseeing at the park. There really is not as much to do on the California side of the park, at least not with Cameron along. Later this week when Chuck and Chase get here, Cindi and Chuck plan to ride the big rollercoaster and the Tower of Terror. Cindi does not want to ride either of them alone, and I refuse to ride them. The rollercoster goes upside down and the Tower drops you 13 stories. My fear of heights keeps me off of them.
I think I am about done shopping for the week. I have a couple more things I want to buy, mostly gifts for coworkers and a shirt for myself but that will be the end of my shopping. I will be broke after that.
Tomarrow night we are going to eat at the Blue Bayou resturant. That is the one that is inside the Pirates ride. We have eaten there before and it is great food. We have reservations set already. We are all looking forward to it. We have planned our day around eating dinner at that resturant.Â
We made it October 1, 2006
Posted by Staci in : Vacations , add a commentSo we made it to Disneyland. We checked into the hotel and then went to the Downtown Disney District for dinner and shopping. We walked around for awhile looking in the different shops and planning future purchases. Suprisingly internet access is part of the package for our stay at this hotel, so I am posting on my laptop and not using my phone. Pretty cool.Â
