The Rune Poem
Eel- Grass grows most often in fen,
Waxes in water, grimly wounds,
Burning with stripes of blood the one
who tries to get a grip on it.
Keywords:Â Protection, defense, sheild.Â
Divination Message:Â You will be protected form possible danger provided you head the warnings your intuition sends you.Â
Message from stone: With wisdom, intuition and vision, you are protected from all harm. There is danger ahead, but safety is assured as long as you head your premonitions and take caution. The protection is a passive Shield that will ward off evil, and provide you with security in risky ventures as whether they are in business or love. Don’t invite misfortune and leave nothing to chance, but proceed with caution until you have established you are on safe footing.Â

Posted by Staci in : Casting Stones, General Ramblings , add a commentYesterday was my day off of work. I stopped at a local metaphysicial store to look at runes. The set I have is a cheap little set that came with a LWB (little white book to those of you not used to Tarot Refference) They felt rough to my hands and I decided that I need to look for stones that felt more comfortable and soothing. I found a really nice hand made set in the store. They are not real stone or wood, but they are nice and smooth and are woven with earthy colors. The price was very reasonable so I bought them. I will resume my daily draw tomarrow if all goes well and I have time.
Vegas Tales August 8, 2006
Posted by Staci in : It's in the Cards, Vacations , add a commentSo Vegas was a Blast. We got in to town on Thurs. night and went to the Gold Coast right after we checked in to the hotel. I won about $200.00 but my sister was a bit down. Friday night the rest of our group got in to town and we were susposed to meet them at the Stardust. Cindi and I headed over there early to gamble, and they comped us dinner. We ate at the best steakhouse in Vegas before everyone else arrived. When they got there, we all gambled there for awhile and then went to the Gold Coast to finish out the night in there poker room.Â
On Saturday Chuck, Cameron, and I went to the Startrek rides at the Hilton while everyone else went shopping. We spent several hours and a lot of money there. Then we left my nephew and my mother back at our resort and went to the Stardust to play for a bit. From there we went over to the Rio to check out the WSOP main event. It was pretty neat just to be in the presence of great gamblers. We watched for a bit and then went to the Gold Coast to play. Our second Mom Christy hit a high hand Jackpot in hold’em and won 3k. The rest of us were lucky to break even.Â
On Sunday Cindi, Chuck, Cameron, and I went to the Shark Reef at Mandalay Bay and then to the Titanic Exhibit at the Tropicana. Both were worth every penny. Us gamblers then all hooked up once again at the Stardust to play. Eric, Chuck, and I sat in the regular poker room for a few hours while Cindi played Pai Gow. Afterwards we walked over to the Rivera since none of us had ever played there to play a few games and eat dinner.Â
We headed back home on Monday and got in town around 615pm or so. That gave us just enough time to unload the car and head out to a local bar for some free Texas Hold’em hosted by http://www.eventpokeraz.com Man we are all addicts.Â
The rest of what happened in Vegas, stays in Vegas.
Vegas Again August 6, 2006
Posted by Staci in : It's in the Cards, Vacations , add a commentWell we have been in Sin City since Thursday night. We are all having a blast. I left my laptop back in AZ though. I am suffering from internet withdrawls, so I broke down and am posting this from my phone. I will have a better update for everyone when I get back home.

The horse before peers is a princely joy
stepping out proudly when spoken of
by wealthy riders all around him -
and to one who’s unquiet he is ever a comfort.
Key Words: Partnership, Instinct, progress, trust, loyality, faith.
Divination Message: A period of cooperation. A pleasurable journey. A life change.
Message from Stone: This is a good time for a journey. Either a trip for pleasure or a journey of self discovery. This journey will be aided by loyal friends whom you can trust to help you reach your goal as long as you return that loyality and support. Progress and forward motion is being made, but is is at a slow pace. Keep your mind, heart, and eyes open to the change. Keep moving forward no matter what your fears and the jrouney will be a success. Toss your inhibitions to the wind and enjoy the adventure.
Ok considering I drew this just after discussing my upcoming trip to Vegas with friends, it is very fitting.Â
