Posted by Staci in : Casting Stones, General Ramblings, Site Updates , add a commentOk I have started making the pages and sub pages for the Runes. I will continue to post the daily draw here, but I will also be posting them on there own pages within this site. Once I have updated the subpages, my daily draw will turn in to more of a reading, then a lesson on the stone itself. Feel free to comment on the pages or the posts.Â

Posted by Staci in : General Ramblings, Site Updates, Vacations , add a commentSo I have spent today tweaking this site again. I changed the header graphic, customized the sidebar, and added a photo gallery. You can see thumbnails to the gallery and a link to the gallery in the sidebar. I have added pictures from our most recent Vegas trip as well as photos from the Vegas Tattoo trip.Â

Posted by Staci in : Site Updates , add a commentOk once again I have changed the theme. I really like how easy this one is to modify. I think I will keep using it until I get a custom one made. And consdering my budget that could be awhile.Â
 I have deleted the comments that had my poems in them. With this theme you can add comments to the pages so I have left that option available.Â

Posted by Staci in : General Ramblings, Site Updates , add a commentMany years ago I wrote a few poems. Actually I wrote a lot of poems. Most of them I never thught were good enough to put online, but others I really liked and published on my old webpage.  I am now adding them to this site one at a time. While you can not comment on the pages that the poems are on, I will post them as individual blog entries as well so you can comment there if you wish.
I hope you enjoy them.

Posted by Staci in : Site Updates , add a commentIt has been a few days since I posted, and a bit has gone on that I have not had time to write about it. I am going to break it in to several posts just to keep things orginized. This post is going to be about this site.
 I am again being a pisces. I am considering changing the layout already. I have looked through a few themes, but so far I really have not found one that calls to me. I am played around with editing this one, but my php skills are lacking and I have not done html in years so I think that is going to be more time consuming then it is worth. I think I might have a custom theme made just for me. Something with an Ancient Egyptian flair. But I know that will be a bit costly, so I will wait a bit before I really decide.Â

 Those posts will be password protected for different reasons. While I don’t mind sharing with friends (both IRL and Virtual), I don’t really want my words to be visible to everyone who might wander in to this site.Â
Moods June 20, 2006
Posted by Staci in : Site Updates , 2commentsSo I found this neat little plug-in for my site that allows me to put moods next to my posts. Then I found the Beauty and the Beast mood theme files to use with the plug-in. I think they are pretty cool, but I am not totally sure I will keep them. They do fit with the overall theme of the site though.Â

Posted by Staci in : Emotions, Site Updates , 1 comment so farSo I picked this layout because most days I think there is beauty in everything no matter how simple. It took me a long time to get to that point. There are days that I still have a really hard time seeing any beauty in myself, but they are getting fewer and farther between.Â
 I think I will keep this layout for a long time to help remind me of that fact. Life is to live and enjoy. I have always known that, but some days it has been hard to enjoy what is going on around me or to see the bright side of the most horrible situations. You never know how long you have to be a part of it, or how long someone you love will be with you to enjoy it.
 I managed to make it past father’s day. This is the second one since my dad passed and I know that has contributed to my mood. I managed to get through a lot of seconds this year. The second Christmas with out him, my second birthday after he died, his second birthday after he died, the second anniversary of his death, and now the second father’s day. It does get easier with time like everyone says, but it will never be something that I can shrug off like it did not or does not matter.Â

Posted by Staci in : General Ramblings, Site Updates , add a commentSo after playing around with this for a few days I have once again reinforced my opinion that as a Pisces I really can not make a decision. I have wavered several times as to the background and format of this site. How I wanted it to look, what I wanted it to represent and a bunch of other things. I still have not made a final decision and I figure I never will. Since this site is going to be represent me, and since a person changes and grows as they travel through life, how they are viewed evolves and changes too. So I figured how this is laid out will change quite often.

Originally it was used to showcase the creations I made with Paint Shop Pro. Since I don’t do graphics as much as I used to it has been dormant for awhile now. So I decided a blog was a good way to make use of it. I hope you all enjoy my ramblings.
