Ok I think I have a plan to help with my running. I have a modified version of the OHR plan that is built on distance instead of time. It starts out with 3 mile runs which is a distance I know I can do. I am going to use that for the next 8 weeks to help build up to a 6 mile long run. After that I will find another plan or create another plan to work up to even more distance. I plan on doing it slow and steady to prevent injury.

I can’t wait until it is cooler outside and I can take my long runs outside to work on my pace. The treadmill is boring and I know I will never manage to run Eugene with confidence if I can’t pace myself outside at least somewhat.
