I know on my 25 minute runs was averaging a distance of 1.52 miles so I tried to set up a work out on my Garmin that would include the 25 minute run as well as added distance to work out to 3.1 miles. My planed workout was: .25 warm up, 1.5 run, .60 recovery, .5 run, .25 cool down. That would have been 3.1 exactly. Well I accidentally set the Garmin for .06 on the recovery. So that meant I walked half of the .5 run. I will recreate it after week 9 with different distances for the runs to help me work up to running a full 5k.
